I suggest we start with an introduction on how to contribute to BIRT.   Following is a link to a BIRT web page the provides some information about contributing to BIRT. http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/project/contribute.php .  During the call, we can help explain and answer any question you might have for the process.  After that, we would like to hear  from you what areas you would be interested in contributing to the BIRT project.  Lastly, we can conclude on the next step for us to join the efforts.

It is great that JasperSoft is interested in joining the Eclipse BIRT project.  There is a PMC meeting scheduled on Jan. 9.  I will send you the time and call number.

I had a very interesting phone call earlier this week with Nick Halsey and others at JasperSoft about their participation in BIRT. I would like to now turn this over to a transparent conversation with the BIRT PMC and JasperSoft to decide what areas they could contribute to the project, and how they can complement the existing work going on today in the project.
 
I would be happy to host a phone call in early January to help this conversation forward, or if you have an already scheduled PMC call, perhaps we could piggyback on that?
