It is great that JasperSoft is interested
in joining the Eclipse BIRT project. There is a PMC meeting
scheduled on Jan. 9. I will send you the time and call

All,
I had a very
interesting phone call earlier this week with Nick Halsey and others at
JasperSoft about their participation in BIRT. I would like to now turn this over
to a transparent conversation with the BIRT PMC and JasperSoft to decide what
areas they could contribute to the project, and how they can complement the
existing work going on today in the project.
I would be happy to
host a phone call in early January to help this conversation forward, or if you
have an already scheduled PMC call, perhaps we could piggyback on
that?
