[birt-pmc] Performance Problems

Hi,

 

   I am having problems retrieving large amounts of data (50000 lines). Here is what I did.

   I created a master-detail report using the sub-report concept. When I try to retrieve 40000 lines of data, the time it takes to get them is 2:30 Minutes which is okay.

   But, when I try to retrieve 50000 lines, it takes 16 Minutes. Can anyone please tell me why there is so much difference when only 10000 lines are increased?

   Is the problem arising while executing the SQL query or while rendering the page? Is there any option to look in any log files to know where the problem actually occurs?
