I have a question regarding the implementation of the "derivedFrom" attribute in BaSyx. Specifically, I am trying to understand how to practically apply this concept. As per the explanation in the AAS specifications, an instance
AAS is "derived from" a type AAS. However, I am unclear on how to implement this in practice, especially regarding the process of automatic derivation when creating a new instance.
To elaborate further, my confusion lies in understanding how the submodel template for an instance works in this context. As I understand it, the "derivedFrom" attribute can be associated with a global reference to the data
specification template used by the element. My specific questions are:
How is the "derivedFrom" attribute implemented?
How is the submodel template created, or practically applied in BaSyx?
How should one work with this feature, given that the explanation in the BaSyx wiki didn't fully clarify it for me?
