Dear BaSyx Community,
I’m happy to announce the release of a prototype of our newest component:
BaSyx DataIntegrator
Systems of record such as PLM, ERP or quality databases contain a lot of valuable data that needs to be available in AAS. However, migrating this data is not always possible.
The BaSyx DataIntegrator enables the rapid provision of this data by providing a façade mechanism that serves the data as AAS while keeping the original data in the existing system.
The configuration of the BaSyx DataIntegrator is done using a Submodel based configuration similar to the Asset Interface Description Submodel.
The current prototype supports the AAS Metamodel V2.0.1 as well as the integration of data provided via SQL or HTTP/REST. It also allows transforming the retrieved data and also generated AAS Descriptors for the AAS Registry
on the fly. Thus, it is fully compatible with the AAS Web GUI. The component is of course available on DockerHub.
Feel free to take a look at the documentation and set up your own use cases:

Best regards,
Frank
