I've submitted a small patch to the Babel server code to fix the
most recent authentication issues. Bugzilla recently introduced a
comma to separate the salt from the password hash.

I meant to push that code to a review, but ended up pushing
directly.
If you can +1 that small change, I will push the code to the live
site.

There hasn't been much (any?) development on the Babel server
code running at https://babel.eclipse.org
in a long time.
We sometimes get login and account issues sent to the webmaster
inbox, so I've upgraded the priority of :

I'm wondering how active Babel is, and if it's worth
undertaking any new development?
