Re: [automotive-pmc] Eclipse S-CORE

Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention..

We are aware of the issues. We've disabled the account and have been working with our friends at BMW help them evolve their practices to align with our open source values.

I can join a meeting and brief the PMC further, if desired.

Dear Automotive PMC, Dear EMO,

I have some doubts with the S-CORE project in terms of hidden contributors…
If you look on the project overview [1], the top contributor is called “BMW Engineer”. Obviously, this seems not to be a natural person.

There is at least one commit, which was authored by “BMW-Contributor” and committed by a committer from the same company.
Also interesting, the only change in the commit was the introduction of a ticket number in the comments. Maybe a company internal one.

I am struggling, how to handle it, as I think, this violates the rule of transparency.
Do you have any suggestions?
Any proper method, we can apply?

Thank you so much!

Best,
Andy
