Thanks for sharing. As the "Technology" umbrella in the actual Eclipse project hierarchy is not so different from UOMo, I'd be happy to have a chat during upcoming events (between Trondheim and Ludwigsburg) about synergies, especially data exchange like
  • Export to compatible formats (atfx, csv)
shows that e.g. the Unified Code for Units of Measurement (UCUM) could be of value to such import/export, particularly if vendors from outside Europe or Germany may join this effort at some point;-)

Gunnar happens to be one of the UOMo mentors, too.

One more thing, following the link to it says:

  • API: The API allows access via OO-methods (object oriented) through a CORBA architecture. The standard includes a second API based upon RPC (remote procedure call) interfaces, which is still in the standard for legacy reasons.
CORBA in 2013/14, seriously?
