Re: [auto-iwg] Eclipse Tool Qualification Workshop in Toulouse

Hi,

There seems quite a bit going on and members of the Science WG seem especially active at least those who intend to come.

If there isn't a severe time conflict with other WGs, I'd certainly be happy to take a look at the presentation and see, whether it could apply to other validations we need in the Railway (ETCS, CENELEC 2011) context. There are a few PolarSys aspects to that OpenETCS Workbench, too (which we don't use at the moment, since other planning/modeling tools are in place)

The session for the main conference by someone seemed "too exotic", but maybe those who proposed it might also be at the Unconference...?

CU,
Werner

Hello,
Just to inform you that on the 17th of June there is an Eclipse Tool Qualification Workshop
in Toulouse, friendly hosted by the Eclipse Unconference, see https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_WG_Unconference_France_2014#Safety_Classification_and_Qualification_of_Eclipse_Based_Tools

Oscar Slotosch will present the first qualification kit for the Tool Chain Analyzer which is an Eclipse-based tool.
It is based on the open source tools Jubula and JaCoCo and complied to ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 50128
and DO-178C/DO-330 (TQL-4 and TQL-5). This approach could also be used to qualify your Eclipse-based tools.
There will be time and atmosphere for nice discussions.

We would be happy to welcome you there.

Kind regards,
        Oscar Slotosch
