Hi Joel,

It is in working out whether casts are useless that it fails, so it
isn't triggered by you
having an unnecessary cast.

For me the option is in
Java>Compiler>Errors/Warnings
then on right hand pane:
Unnecessary Code>Unnecessary cast or 'instanceof' statement

Anyway, i've just committed the proper fix for this, it will be in
AJDT in the next day or so.
