The annual election for the AsciiDoc Steering Committee, as outlined in the Charter, is approaching. The election is for Committer Members only; Partner Members appoint representatives.

We strongly encourage eligible committer members to consider running, as these elected positions are key to the working group's governance. The official Call for Nominations is scheduled for early May.

Please consult the Working Group Operational Guide links on Electing Representatives and Committee Representation for role and process details.

Key dates will follow in the Call for Nominations next month.
