Greetings AsciiDoc Steering Committee acting as the Specification Committee,

I request your vote to approve and ratify the Progress Review of AsciiDoc Language Project.

The EFSP requires a successful Progress Review ballot of the Specification Committee in order to extend the Release Cycle (as that term is defined in the EFSP).

The relevant materials are available here:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yS8TmkvrjY9mpwXtQUDZ_mN5QxlVYPxpkLqJl1_w_48/edit?usp=sharing

Per the process, this will be a 7-day ballot, ending on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, that requires a super-majority positive vote of the Specification Committee members (note that there is no veto). Community input is welcome, but only votes cast by Steering Committee Representatives will be counted.

The Specification Committee is composed of representatives of the AsciiDoc Working Group Member Companies (Cloudbees, Couchbase, OpenDevise, Red Hat, Salesforce.com, VMware), along with individual(s) who represent the Committer Members.

Specification Committee representatives, your vote is hereby requested. Please respond with +1 (positive), 0 (abstain), or -1 (reject). Any feedback that you can provide to support your vote will be appreciated.

Regards,
Amarantha Kulkarni
