[aperi-dev] Re: aperi-dev Digest, Vol 9, Issue 13

Yes. It will require the user to download more 3rd party prerequisites and I'll need to prompt the user for more information in the cfgaperi script. As I check-in the changes I've been updating development environment instructions, http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Aperi/build/dev-env. I'll let you know when I'm done updating the wiki.

Craig,
Will any of these 3rd-party prerequisites require additional manual downloads during the installation procedure? (or any other changes related to the installation process)
Thanks.

Tom,
Adding support for BIRT reporting required us to add some additional 3rd
party prerequisites.
The following 3rd party IP is being used from other Eclipse projects:
javax.servlet.jsp v2.0 -- Orbit
org.apache.commons.e1 v1.0 -- Orbit
org.apache.jasper v5.5.17 -- Orbit
org.eclipse.equinox.jsp.jasper v20070318 -- Equinox
We are also dependant on some packages from the Jetty project that don't
appear to be exported by any existing Eclipse projects. I would like to
get approval for Aperi to distribute the following packages from the Jetty
project:
org.mortbay.jaas
org.mortbay.jaas.callback
org.mortbay.jaas.spi
