[alf-dev] Eclipse ALF project meeting minutes 4/13/06
|
Attendees:
Mirinda Lowe, Brian Carroll, Mark Phippard, Steve Taylor, Bob Brady, John Streiff, Ali Kheirolomoom
The RC 1.0 project
plan is posted and we're starting to have folks sign up for Scope/Implement assignments on various tasks. We need folks to sign up for the tasks that
they will be able to do ASAP so we can start estimating/planning the tasks to
see if we have sufficient resources to achieve the desired tasks by the
milestone dates. If you've not yet signed up for tasks, please look at the
plan and email Mirinda with any items you'd like to sign up
for.
Brian continues to
work on the ALF Security & Technology plan. He's currently laying
out the next level of detail and working to get that published for review soon.
ALF team had a call
with the Higgins team yesterday to discuss joint work on the ALF security.
The proposal is that we build our security under Higgins. Still working
out a joint plan. Brian will next be working on the use cases & credential mapping. Currently there is not much to leverage from Higgins
for RC 1.0 of ALF but we can structure ALF for early adoption. Higgins
team mentioned in the call that they've done some preliminary implementation of
the data model running plug-ins in a Servlet container. Bob Brady has tried this & has some sample code from another source that he will share
with the team.
Tim & the POC
partners are working on the image of the POC for the partners to
have.
Tim is working with
various folks to create the ALF sample/working stub version. Team has some
open questions whether we'll use the same Event Manager and what static details
we'll want to show. Tim will continue to coordinate
that.
SCM Vocabulary team
met this week. See Tim's earlier minutes for details on that. Richard Title had a proposal that was mentioned in the meeting that the team
would like to see - Mark P will email this to the team.
We'll meet again
next week.
Thanks
Mirinda
