Your code looks all right. I would guess that you are hitting one of the 5
bugs listed in

   http://wiki.eclipse.org/Albireo_SWT_AWT_bugs#MacOS_X

None of the five are worked around in Albireo - we gave priority to the
bugs encountered on Windows and Linux.
