Re: the earlier discussion as to how to resolve the clash between the 
eclipse icon used for aspects and the icon used for annotations.

Just to let you all know, this has now reached a satisfactory conclusion. 
The JDT team have just committed a new icon for annotations, which is 
attached below. It consists of an @ symbol, but is not enclosed in a 
circle, so is larger and therefore much clearer. 

So we get to keep our icon, giving consistency for AspectJ developers, and 
everyone benefits from a clearer, more meaningful icon for annotations.
