| Rod Johnson had a presentation on Embabel, and I asked about the the spec, and he flat out said “NO - standards are not suitable for AI", in his brash Rod Johnson fashion. I don’t think Embabel will be on board :) And we also know what Rod thinks about EE in general…
I would think that LangChain4j-CDI ought to be used by any impl. of Jakarta EE Agentic AI spec. The spec itself doesn’t really specify how to call the models themselves, at least to my understanding. On Jun 7, 2026, at 3:45 PM, Kito D. Mann via agentic-ai-dev <agentic-ai-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Excellent. I’ll try to take a look soon. I was able to read some of Chapter 1 but I don’t have any substantive feedback yet.
Sorry if I missed it, but has anyone reached out to the LangChain4J, Spring, or Embabel folks regarding this spec?
