[adoptium-wg] Adoptium 2025 Q4 Marketing Review & 2026 Strategy

Good afternoon, Adoptium WG members,

Please find the Q4 Marketing Review attached. While this document was finalised some weeks ago, its presentation has been delayed due to other high-priority agenda items taking precedence.

We are sharing it for your consideration ahead of this week's meeting. Please note that Shabnam will not be able to present this by herself this week, so we would like to collect your feedback asynchronously instead.

Q4 Highlights at a Glance:

  • Adoptium Summit 2025: Hosted on October 1st with 617 registrations and speakers from 7 different countries. Review the summary slide with all the data and feedback.

  • Sustainer Program Growth: 17% growth in individual sponsorships and a 46% increase in average ticket size. You can find all the detailed information about the Sustainer program in 202,5 starting on slide 11.

  • Digital Engagement: Website sessions grew by 20% in Q4, and our YouTube channel reached 1.2 million all-time views.

  • Content & Events: Published 7 blog posts, Bloomberg Case Study promotion, including a feature in The New Stack, and maintained a strong presence at events like SFSCon and OSXP.

Looking Ahead to 2026:

Our 2026 initiatives are designed specifically in support of the 2026 Program Plan, focusing on:

  • Enterprise Awareness: Driving Enterprise User conversion through the Sustainer program and the third Adoptium Summit.

  • Contributor Experience: Strengthening the “Contribute to Adoptium” journey with a dedicated landing page and recognition program.

You can view the full deck here: 2025 Q4 Adoptium Marketing Review.
