Hello, PMC members,
Fujitsu would like to nominate its team members as Temurin Compliance committers.
The existing PMC members elect new Temurin Compliance committers.
Current PMC members are hereby invited to vote on electing the following members to the Eclipse Temurin Compliance project [1].
The primary criteria for becoming a committer on the Temurin Compliance project is the candidate either signs directly or works for a company that has signed the 3-way agreement with the Eclipse Foundation and Oracle. Such an agreement is in place for the people listed below who are either associated with Fujitsu.
Fujitsu provides its own built binary of OpenJDK and offers them to customers.
Takuya leads the Java team at Fujitsu and is a committer for OpenJDK.
As you know, running TCKs is fraught with problems, which require experience and accumulated knowledge to solve, and Adoptium vendors have similar problems.
While Fujitsu itself does not currently use the Temurin binary, Takuya and the rest of the Fujitsu Java team believe that combining them and sharing their knowledge with Adoptium members will improve the quality of distribution of Temurin and other vendors' OpenJDK binaries.
Taizo and Daishi are Fujitsu team members supporting Takuya, while Yuhei manages the team as a manager.
Kenji leads Fujitsu's overall Java technology strategy as an architect, and serves on the Eclipse Foundation's Jakarta EE and MicroProfile committees.
Please vote by reply with one of:
+1 : elect all members listed above as committers in the Temurin Compliance project
0 : no opinion either way
-1 : reject the members as committers in the Temurin Compliance project at this time
If you are -1 on this and object to some members and not others, please clarify that stance in your reply.
