You can pause/resume profiling at any given time, but it can't be done
automatically. You have to click on the pause/resume button to do this.
You can't setup a timer request under TPTP and have your application
profiled/tested at specific time intervals. There's no scheduling under
TPTP in that sense.
However, you can get a copy of the code and tailor it to your specific
needs. There are specific methods called for starting/stopping profiling
so you can write an application such that these methods are invoked
whenever you need them.
