Hello,
I have no idea where to post this thread but I have been using Eclipse for a while now, but just recently my eclipse became completely broken.. Everytime I try to browse for anything within the eclipse program the program stops working. This is when I browse for workspaces, projects, anything it just freezes and I have to end the process of eclipse.
Another problem I am experiencing is that whenever I do get eclipse to get into my workspace when I copy and paste the directory, I cannot see my projects in the project explorer. I cannot import existing projects either because whenever i hit browse within eclipse my program stops working.
I have never experienced a problem like this before if anyone could tell me what is going on it would help greatly. I have tried deleting eclipse & it's workspace folder and re-downloading eclipse, I have tried updating my jdk platform, and my jre is up to date. I have no plug-ins working with eclipse it is just eclipse itself. I don't like using other IDEs besides eclipse, need help!

Eric Rizzo wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 17:59Have you specified the JDK you want Eclipse to run in as described in
A common source of "Eclipse was working and suddenly stopped working" type problems is that the system JRE was updated or changed and the user wasn't using eclipse.ini to control which JDK Eclipse runs in.
I have put the specified jdk in the Eclipse.ini file, but I am still not able to browase for files, nor am I able to see my projects in project explorer. When I try to import existing projects it tells me that I cannot import a project that is already in the project explorer. :c
