Hi everybody,

Since 3.1 is out of the door, I'd love to make use of the enhancements
it brought us in my RCP app.
As I am not focusing on customers that would accept english interfaces,
there is one show stopper: translations.

I found several newsgroup postings regarding this issue (including a
project proposal from 2004 in eclipse.foundation), and it seems that IBM
will contribute translations at some unknown time. With 3.0, this has
happend somewhen in october...
The translations are created in a closed process and thus there is no
way the community can help or even get a release date (or am I wrong?).

For this reason I would like to propose a project where the community
builds translation fragments (e.g. hosted on sourceforge). The project
should focus on the base RCP plugins and would be open for everybody to
contribute...

Anyone interested in such a project?
