Value LifeLine in Papyrus [message #1497241] Wed, 03 December 2014 17:14 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Dear all,
I'm creating a UML timing diagram in Papyrus.
When I'm using the compact lifeline view, when I change the name of the
state in the properties tab it's not shown, that is, it shows "unnamed".
However, if I select the state and I press F2 it works correctly. There
must be some issue there.
Moreover, when using full lifeline view the names of the states are
never shown, therefore, that view is completely useless right now.
I'm using Eclipse Luna x86 (64bits) and Papyrus 1.0.1.

Kind regards,

Víctor

Now it's almost two years after the original post and the timing diagram is still not working. A bummer because it would be a feature that other open-source UML tools don't have. I just wonder why it works in the youtube movie (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaHhQrv1xQc). That movie threw up two more question for me:

  • The model name shown in the title bar of Eclipse starts with "SysML" but when I create a Papyrus SysML project it does not list a timing diagram.
  • The model explorer on the left does not list the timing diagram shown in the editor tab.
