Hi All,

I thought of learning to develop a TCL IDE using DLTK, so saw the Python
IDE as example from wiki. The repository that holds the code doesn't
work. Can anyone help me out in this.

This is exactly i want to know also, the documentation about python is not
only
complicated but also written for people familiar with eclipse, but not for
me.

Is there any easier way to build tcl ide in eclipse?

Hi Shiva,

Please check you cvs settings:

host: dev.eclipse.org
connection type: pserver
user: anonymous
password:
repository path: /cvsroot/technology

And you need following modules:
org.eclipse.dltk/examples/eclipsecon08/org.eclipse.dltk.exam ples.python
org.eclipse.dltk/examples/eclipsecon08/org.eclipse.dltk.exam ples.python.part2
org.eclipse.dltk/examples/eclipsecon08/org.eclipse.dltk.exam ples.python.part3
org.eclipse.dltk/examples/eclipsecon08/org.eclipse.dltk.exam ples.python.part4

Best regards,
Andrei Sobolev.

Hi all,

I am not sure why you both write about "develop/build TCL IDE".

TCL IDE is already included in the DLTK - have you looked in the downloads?

It could be used without eclipse/java knowledge - just download and run.
But if you want to add some functionality to it you have to learn java.

Regards,
Alex
