Hello, I'm new to programming and i'm trying to teach myself so i can be a professional some day. I need some resources to help me learn how to use ecilpse and other programs to make my own plugins, apps and eventually full programs.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

1) Open Eclipse Help Contents and browse the chapters for Getting Started guides.
2) Check out the tutorials by Lars Vogel at http://www.vogella.com/tutorials/
