I have been programming in Java SE for a couple of years and have OCPJP7 certification. Now, I would like to try the OCEJWCD 6 exam.

I have installed Eclipse Luna for Windows 64 bit and would like to use Tomcat 8 as the web server for JSP/Servlet development.

So, a little help in setting up Eclipse environment would be appreciated.

My question is what is the latest and the most recommended way to use Eclipse and Tomcat?

Do I need to install the Tomcat separately or just setting up Tomcat through Window/Preferences/Server/Runtime and then adding new server is enough?

Secondly, would you recommend using WTP (Web Tools Project) or is there a better alternative?

Thanks
