Hi all,

I am new to Eclipse. I have a problem with BIRT.

The following error is shown when I run birt_viewer.

But I have put the driver in the path as described.
i.e
C:\BIRT\apache-tomcat-5.5.15\webapps\birt_viewer\WEB-INF\pla tform\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc_2.2.2.r2 2x_v20071206\drivers

Still it is giving the following error.

org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.JDBCException: Cannot load JDBC
Driver class: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

Please help.

Kousik

Hi Kousik. I think you'll get a better response on the eclipse.birt
newsgroup. I've copied them into this reply. Good luck. Mark

Hi Kousik,

Did you connect the JAR file with BIRT? If not then Go to Manage Drivers
option in Create New Data Source Wizard, there you point the location of
the JAR file.

Hope it will work...
