Hi,
I have recently installed Eclipse V3.3.2. I have a Java project. When I
open an object's declaration by right clicking and then clicking on "Open
Declaration" the declaration is opened correctly. When I press the F3 key
to open the object's declaration a blank Microsoft Excel spreadsheet opens
which is obviously not what I want!
I have the following settings:
In Windows => Preferences => Keys
Open Declaration F3 In Windows Navigate
Open Declaration F3 Edit Script Source Navigate
In Windows => Preferences => File Associations
*.Java Java Editor (default) (locked by 'JavaSource File' content type)
and Text Editor (locked by 'JavaSource File' content type)
In Windows => Preferences => content Type
Java Source File *.java (locked)
At this point I'm not sure what to try next.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
John.

Hi Dani,
Thanks for the response.
I've tried modifying this entry but it doesn't seem to alter anything.
I have the Ruby and Tcl plugins and I think it might have something to do
with them.
John.

I solved this and it has nothing to do with Eclipse. I have a Logitech
keyboard which has a function key mode button (F Mode) which when pressed
switches the Function Keys to "Enhanced" mode and they do not act as
normal function keys. There is nothing to indicate when this button has
been pressed.
