I'm trying to set up Koneki for the first time. I'm new to Eclipse, but I've made a bunch of Lua programs from the command line before.

I followed the short introduction here http://wiki.eclipse.org/Koneki/LDT/User_Guide#Execution_Environment
I downloaded the Lua 5.1 zip and "luaenv" files from here, as suggested in the tutorial at VertexClique (Cannot add link because I am a new account)

I added 5.1 as an execution environment.

However I cannot run any Lua projects. When I hit the green Run or Debug buttons, Koneki says "This selection cannot be launched, and there are no recent launches."

When I click the drop-down arrow only "Run configurations" is available, and inside that I cannot add a run configuration, the button is greyed out.

Please can someone give more information on how to set up Koneki and Lua for the first time? Thank you.

Hi,
In the current stable release (0.8.1), there are no support to run your code.
We just propose an attach debug and you could eventualy use the eclipse external tools launchconfiguration to run your application. (see the http://wiki.eclipse.org/Koneki/LDT/User_Guide#Remote_Debugand a http://www.thijsschreijer.nl/blog/?p=604)

The new 0.9.0 version which will be released at the end of the year, will contains a great support of interpreter which will allow you to run your application from LDT.

Stay tuned ;)
