So what about the 1.0 release? [message #1387804] |

Some of you may be wondering when you could expect the 1.0 release of Handly. A few things must happen before the 1.0 release can be made...
1. The API is ready to be frozen and API policy has been defined.
2. The documentation is complete, including JavaDocs for all API classes.
3. There must be at least one adopter of Handly outside of 1C. This could be another project at Eclipse or another company's product. The adopter feature does not need to be fully finished, but sufficient progress on the feature must have been made.
4. The project must officially graduate from incubation through Graduation Review.
The rest of the content of the 1.0 release, including enhancements on top of initial 1C contribution, will be guided by community needs. So if you are interested in this technology and have a feature in mind where you can leverage Handly, it would be in your best interest to engage as early as possible by playing around with pre-1.0 releases and giving feedback.

Hi Marc,
Thank you for your interest in Handly, and for letting us know.
We would be very much interested in such a major adopter as Eclipse LDT!
If I can ever be of any help to you, just let me know.
Thanks,
Vladimir
