ID's of JavaFX nodes created by e(fx)clipse [message #1387689] Wed, 25 June 2014 08:55 Go to next message

In my E4 application model I have a MPerspective with one MPart in it. Using Scenic View I see that e(fx)clipse creates a FillLayoutPane for this.

Is there some elegant way to set an ID or a CSS styleclass for this FillLayoutPane so I can apply CSS styling to it (e.g. padding)?

Cheers,
Rob

IIRC we:
a) push the ID from the model as the "elementId" on the node replacing
"." with "-"
b) add the element-type MPerspective as a Tag

If this is not the case this are serious bugs and they need to be fixed.

The problem I see with FillLayoutPane is that it does not respect the
padding from CSS so I think we need to fix the algorithm in the
FillLayoutPane to respect that!

Beside that we should make the layout properties on FillLayoutPane
StyleableProperties:
* marginHeight
* marginWidth
* spacing

Please file a bugzilla for both problems.
