Does anyone have experience maintaining an Eclipse development environment on a closed network?. Our development network cannot connect directly to the Eclipse Marketplace to download plugins and updates. Even templates for the JBoss Studio don't work because they require download of example programs.

We're looking for best practices, lessons learned, procedures, etc.

It's up to the provider of the plug-ins you're seeking as to what options you have. Ideally there will be a downloadable update site for your scenario (or a URL you can mirror), but no one has to provide it.
