Hi guys

What do you think about a new rule event based on JMS queue?

I think ca be useful to integrate ESH to other existing systems (that can be web services, web applications, other control systems, etc.).

We cannot implement the whole stack but only predispose a way to simplify this kind of integration (and create the complete implementation on openHAB2).

Is your idea to use JMS in general for the eventing? See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=423517#c3 where Davy suggests the same as an option for MQTT.
Alternatively, we could think about an JMS binding similar to the current openHAB MQTT binding, which simply imports and exports events to external systems.

Hi Kai, thanks for the reply

I'm not thinking to use JMS in general (could add unnecessary overhead), but, as you right said, something like MQTT binding. So we can implements a new binding also for this type of integration, I didn't think. Really powerful, good.
