I very much rely on the functionality to attach the sources and JavaDocs
to all library JARs in my projects. Unfortunately source distributions,
for example on Sourceforge, are commonly made in form of a tar.gz rather
than ZIP archive, I think simply for reasons of better compression.
Sadly however both external src and JavaDocs can only be attached from a
folder, ZIP or another JAR. It is a little inconvenient first having
to extract/convert to ZIP every lib's source tarball.

As more people must have come across this "problem" I wonder if anyone
has a better solution.

Thanks, Andy
