| Shortest path router draws across elements sometimes [message #238571] | Thu, 20 September 2007 09:29 | |

In the logic example with the router set to shortest path, the connections are drawn around gates if the gates are on the base logic part. But, if the gates are inside a circuit, the wires will cross a gate.

 A stick diagram:

 G1 G2 G3
 \______/

 +----------------+
 | G1__G2___G3 |
 | |
 +----------------+

How would I get the same wire routing between gates when they are inside a circuit as is done when the gates are not in a circuit? Also, how does the algorithm know how much space a gate occupies in case I need to override that?

 Thanks in advance.
