whenever I try to run (inspect) a selected expression in the scrapbook, I
get this error: "Unable to launch Scrapbook VM - Cannot find a free socket
for the debugger".
I'm using Version: 3.3.0 Build id: M20070921-1145 under windows vista.

Any help appreciated.

Hi. What version of the JRE are you running? It should be 1.5 or 1.6.
(You can check this in Window/Preferences/Java/Installed JRE's). Also,
I've seen a scrapbook problem related to having a project located on a
network drive instead of a local drive. I'm assuming that you can't use
the debugger either. Is this correct? Mark Dexter

All you have to do is add a vm argument to your .ini file

in order to do this follow the instructions for specifying the jvm here:
