File associations for bugzilla templates [message #230702]

Hello *,

I installed the WTP plugin and intended to edit the bugzilla "*.html.tmpl"
files for customizing pruposes.

Unfornuatley Eclipse doesn't seem to let me associate the "Web Page
Editor" with the file type: "*.html.tmpl"

I think this is because the "File Associations" are nailed down to a
"filename.extensions" pattern only. "filename.extensions1.extensions2"
doens't seem to be possible, as required for bugzilla
"filename.html.tmpl" files.

All tries like adding "*.html\.tmpl" lead to no success either.

Do I miss the point somewhere? Or is this a bug?

Why not just use "*.tmpl" instead of "*.html.tmpl" ?
