Putting jars from jared plugins on classpath [message #226688] Tue, 28 March 2006 11:34 Go to next message

We like to know whether it's possible to place a jar from one of eclipse's
jared plugins on the Java Build path of our project. For instance we had
AJar.jar on the classpath of our project in Version 6.0 but now in V 7.0
we don't really know how to get the same jar on our classpath since the
plugin for this jar file is now jared itself!

There is a really comprehensive post on the eclipse.platform newsgroup
on this area. See subject line "Does Eclipse 3.1.X supports plugins
with embedded jars?" of the post.

Is this a Java application project, and you were taking advantage of a
jar shipped in a plugin in eclipse?

Or is this a plugin project and you want to use the functionality?
