Native Library Usage [message #22076] Tue, 01 July 2008 07:25 Go to next message

Hello

As I understand things the LPG exec is only used when generating the parser,
and
the generated parser can be moved to any platfrom that has appropriate java
support ?

Need to get this confirmed because our target environment includes Sun
Solaris (Sparc) and that
is not a supported OS listed on the LPG Sourceforge site, but I think that
that is only for
the development part.

NB: It would have been easy for me to test this myself, but we do not have
access any Solaris machines.

LPG-Generator:
Source in lpg.generator.cpp,
exe in lpg.generator.XXX (XXX = linux_x86, macosx_x86, win32_x86)
LPG-Generator is platform-specific ( nice idea: re-write LPG-Generator in
Java )

(2)
LPG-Runtime:
Java-source in lpg.runtime.java (+ *.g-templates, *.g-includes and some
docs.)

The generated Parser can be moved to any platform that has appropiate java
support.
