File-menu-entry "Print" always dimmed [message #221801] Tue, 12 August 2008 09:31 Go to next message

Hi
Eclipse-Help tells me, printing should be possible when the focus is with
an editor. Not on my debian etch system - although a printer is installed
and other programs e. g. open office can handle printing.

My Eclipse: Version: 3.3.2 Build id: M20080221-1800 with Eclipse C/C++
Development Tools Testing Framework Version: 4.0.3.200802251018 Build
id:200802251018

What can/should I do?

Robert

AFAIK, printing wasn't supported on *nix in Eclipse 3.3.2

Printing was supported in Eclipse 3.3. But it depends on the GTK version
you are using. Try to google this newsgroup (or the newcomer newsgroup).
There was an answer to this question some weeks ago.
