rename directory in CVS repository [message #220612] Wed, 14 December 2005 13:30 Go to next message

Hi,

This might be off topic in this forum.

I have created a sub-directory in a web project to hold javascript files.
The directory name is in lower case. Now I want to change the first char
of the directory name from lower case to upper case. I did this in
Eclipse, it worked great.

The problem is, when I check out the project to a different location, I do
not get the changed directory name, it's still in lower case.

How can I change the directory name in CVS (CVSNT on Win2K) ?

Thanks,

Harry

Never mind.
I went into the file system of the CSV repository and rename the directory
there, and it worked.
