I don't know what tutorial you're following. It's hard to speculate on
what your problem is without knowing what you're trying to do. Likely
you did not create an Eclipse Java project.

If he is saying the tutorial I would be surprised if it was not the Hello World tutorial on the welcoming page. I have had this same problem and that is usually caused by not being in the correct environment.
