I am trying to create a plugin that makes menu and command contributions to the IDE. I have done this in the past using the 3.x paradigm with plugin.xml extensions. I would like to keep the code as pure e4 and contribute it using a fragment.xmi.

Does anyone know of an example or tutorial that shows how to do this? I'm working my way through the example plugins in the org.eclipse.e4.ui repo - hopefully I'll find something there.

Hi J.,

What exactly is your problem? You don't know how to make a fragment or does the fragement not get loaded in the IDE?

Cheers,

Wim
