I am just starting with Equinox on a OSX 10.9.2,
with Oracle Java 1.7:
java version "1.7.0_51"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
I downloaded the OSGi container and try to run it:
$ java -jar org.eclipse.osgi_3.8.2.v20130124-134944.jar -console
My JAVA_HOME seems to properly set:
$ echo $JAVA_HOME
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_51.jdk/Contents/Home
But after this command it just sits there. I tried a complete distribution of Luna, but that performs the same. I feel this is some rookie mistake I am making.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
