I'm trying to use .options files for my plugins so I can use the Run
configuration dialog to modify debug options. What I have determined to be
the problem is as follows:
By default the configuration dialog does not have trace enabled. The very
first, I enable trace, that's the same value the PDE will always use to
generate the full .options file for the runtime workspace. If I change
this value, it will not persist neither in the dialog nor in the
launches. I have not been able to find out what makes the dialog retain
the new options. Now, even when it does, the .options never reflects the
change.
Can anyone shed some light in this?
BTW, I'm using 3.0 M7 on Windows XP.
