Fails to recognise AUT is running. (win) [message #1262346]

Firstly I'd like to apologise if I ave made any obvious technical errors here, I am very new to testing with Jubula.

Using the embedded aut agent, default database, windows 7, Jubula standalone.

I have defined the aut using the win toolkit, as the program is written in a .net language, pointed the executable file name to the programs exe.
When I launch the program it appears in the progress panel as starting the AUT, however this never changes. The program is launched successfully, and is fully functional but the application never advances to become a Running AUT.

Any ideas?

The program I'm trying to launch is Petrel.

can you say what .NET version the AUT uses / is installed on the machine?

Hi Alex,

The AUT uses .NET 4.5.1

Ok thanks for the quick reply. Another question I should have asked first off - what UI toolkit does the AUT use (winforms, WPF, win32, ...)?

I am around 95% certain it uses winforms.

Hello! For the first time I have to deal with automating of .net application. And I have the same problem like Adam... I have installed Jubula 8.5 standalone version and .net framework 4.7. When I start Jubula I don't have an option to choose win toolkit. There are only swing, html, java fx, swt and rcp. Can you explain me how to get that win toolkit option? Is there any manual for this kind of automation?
