Hi All,

I would like to know if I can (and how) use an external view (view made by
me) for holding the components into the palette. I know how to integrate
it into the editor but I prefer to use view. How can I integrate that view
into the GEF?

Thanks in advance,

Jill

GEF already contains a View for use with the palette. Do you mean something
else?

Hi Randy,

here is what I've got
http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-GEF-diagram-editor/i mages/shape_screenshot2.jpg

the palette is inside the editor.

here is what I want -
http://www.exadel.com/exadel_themes/html/themes/exadel/image s/pages/es/vpe.jpg

the palette is outside the editor

I hope this make it more clear what I want

Thanks,

Jill

OK, so all you have to do is open the view called "Palette". It's already in
GEF.
