remote debugging trying to clean output folder [message #207034]

Hi,

When launing a remote debugging, eclipse tries to clean output folder. I
see a message saying "trying to clean output folders." Does eclispe try
to clean output folders and build again?

But I have "Automatic Build" turned off. Also I have disabled "Java
Builder" off. I do not want eclipse to build it. We use make to build
our sources. Is there a way to tell eclipse not to try to build the
sources. When I create a launcher for debuggig, there is an option for
turning off build before launch. I don't see similar option for remote
debugging.

In Preferences/Run-Debug/Launching there is a preference to build before
launching which is on by default. Have you turned it off?

No. I had turned off the build in the project.
When I turn off the debug preferences, it works fine.
