I recently installed the Linux version of Eclipse for Parallel Application Developers (http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/kepler/SR1/eclipse-parallel-kepler-SR1-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz), and then used the Marketplace to install EGit. For some reason, the Marketplace always shows that an update is available, but when I hit the update button and click through the prompts, I get the following message:

Quote:
Your original request has been modified.
No updates were found.
Unexpected Error. Could not process the request. Check the error log for details.

I actually completely removed my ~/.eclipse directory and reinstalled EGit from scratch, and it is now in the same state, so I don't think that it's anything that I did.

Is this expected behavior?
