Cant get builder to work in C [message #1235580]

I must be doing something wrong i have just moved to a Linux Desktop and can not get eclipse to work.. I have it on windows and it works there...

1. I have the Yoxos/Kepler release.
2. I have the gcc, libs and tools

I get lunched and the edit perspective opens
I see my project.
my project is in the filesystem and my workbench share that directory.
but I can not get my build hammer to work it just stares at me.. no joy. and no its not grayed out.. Shocked

please help..
btw
I know my tools are working as I built a makefile to test my tools and that works..
